About Heather Bittner

I'm a lifelong resident of Iowa, specifically the eastern Polk County area. I've been married to my husband for 33 years and we have two grown sons. I enjoy spending time with family & friends, being outdoors and kayaking & boating, traveling as often as I can, and I'm a huge football fan!

I grew up in the real estate market with my parent's owning numerous rental properties. On a personal level, I have been flipping homes for twenty-five years, and also have worked as an interior designer for both a national company, as well as owning my own design consulting business. I have a huge passion for real estate!

With my background, I bring a vast amount of knowledge to the real estate experience for both my buyers and sellers. I’m able to help spot trouble areas in home’s conditions more easily and hopefully offer some advice on how to go about fixing these issues, give some general estimate of costs that may be involved, and help put my buyers and sellers in touch with contractors to address these issues in a quick manner. I’m also able to see past the condition of homes and offer suggestions on improvements & designs beyond just paint and flooring, to allow for full enjoyment of the space. I feel these areas of my background will certainly bring a new dimension to your real estate adventure while working with me!

I love working with clients in all avenues of real estate but have a special interest in working with those looking for older properties in need of a little TLC, that with a little work and some sweat equity in updates and improvements, can be turned into the home of their dreams! I also love working with buyers who are just purchasing their first home, and those who are transitioning out of their homes and downsizing/later life clients and families needing assistance and extra care and advice on estates.
